MDS20 Series Description: The Mean Well MDS20 series is a 20W isolated and regulated DC-DC converter designed for medical applications, housed in a compact 2”x1” module. Featuring international standard pin configurations, it achieves high efficiency of up to 90% and operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -40°C to +90°C. With a high isolation voltage of 4KVAC between input and output, the MDS20 series ensures safe and stable performance. Certified to the IEC60601-1 medical standard, this converter provides continuous-mode short circuit protection and ultra-low leakage current, meeting the stringent requirements of medical systems. It supports a 2:1 wide input range with input voltage options of 9 to 18V, 18 to 36V, and 36 to 75V. The series also offers flexible output voltage choices of 5V, 12V, 15V, and 24V, making it an excellent choice for various medical devices and systems requiring reliable and safe power solutions.
